What’s your background?
Professionally, I have years of strategic experience in a variety of channels, including brand planning, email, one-to-one, interactive, customer relationship management (CRM) and social media marketing. In that time, I’ve worked with brands such as Royal Caribbean, KB Toys, Fidelity Investments, San Diego Hospice and Subway achieve a wide range of different marketing goals – everything from product launches and boosting sales, to subscriber acquisition and much more.
So what’s it like to work with you?
Well, you’ll find that I’m a devoutly integrated marketer – that means you’ll never hear me tell you that any one marketing channel is the best for every situation, or that other channels are dead/dying/useless. Never, you hear? I strongly believe that each has their strengths, and only by crafting a smart mix of the right channels for you will you realize the full potential of your marketing efforts. There is no secret sauce, only dedication to differentiated thinking and creative marketing that sets you apart from the rest.
As for the mundane stuff, I do my absolute best to return my calls and emails within a day, I keep my deadlines and promises (and tell you beforehand if it’s absolutely not possible), and I say ‘please’ and ‘thankyou’ with alarming regularity. I was raised like a gentleman, what more could you want?
What about outside the office?
Personally, I’m a big tech and sci-fi nerd, as well as an avid Xbox gamer, occasional cigar-smoker and an award-winning improv comedian with The Hinges in San Diego. Give me an opening, and I’ll talk about any of these subjects at length – consider this a warning.
